As I kissed your forehead and walked away I didn’t say “goodbye.”
Rather I just walked out the door trying not to cry.
You need to gather your thoughts and asked for some time.
Not hearing from you just breaks my heart. It should be a crime.
In my mind I try my best to fully understand
But if you’d tell me what it is you want I’d put it in your hand.
Time with you is always great.I could never get enough.
Not getting to see you at all on me has been so tough.
I often wonder if you feel the same or if again your love you’ll share.
Then I remember the look in your eyes and I know deep down you care.
The past few weeks for you may not have gone according to your plan,
But I swear to you I’ll help you out any way I can.
As hard as it is for me to not hear your voice
I’ll do my best to give you time. It’s my only choice.
Just know that no matter what you are not alone.
I’m never more than a call away if you pick up your phone.
So while time is what you need to gather a thought
My love to you I freely give. It can never be bought.
I selfishly ask that while lost in thought maybe you will see
