Sitting in the work truck wondering if we’ll get rained out.
Been coming down pretty steady now heading home soon no doubt.
What to once I’m home that will be the question.
Wishing I had someone to call and get myself a suggestion.
I get bored too easily and need some things to do
So I sit here pondering do you do this too.
Maybe I’ll go back to bed and get some more sleep
Or go for a ride to clear some thoughts which for some are too deep.
The casino isn’t far away so maybe I’ll go there.
If I spend all my money would I even care?
I could call some friends and see if they’d like to do Out somewhere just riding around or catch that new picture show.
I haven’t been to the mall lately,that could be fun.
Honestly I’d rather work out here in the sun.
So sad when you have all day to do as you wish.
Not very much fun eating alone trying to enjoy my favorite dish.
Still I sit here waiting to hear from the boss.
Looks like this work day will be a total loss.
Rain rain go away you all know the rest.
It’s only Monday so plenty of time to make of this week the best.
Chin up,don’t get down,keep my mind right.
Just focus on the good in life and my rainy days will always bright.
